The technology transfer office Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA) has an office at Science Park. You, as a PhD candidate, can contact them (in consultation with your supervisor) in case your project delivers promising results that may be worthwhile to file as a patent or could be impactful in another way. In the event that these activities lead to net revenues for the university, employees that contributed to the invention will receive a personal reward.
