In 2024, HIMS scientists were awarded appealing prizes and honours. Noteworthy examples are the IgNobel Prize for Sander Woutersen and Tess Heeremans, the HTC Innovation Award for Bob Pirok, the Prof. J.N. Mukherjee award for Shiju Raveendran, the Dick Stufkens Prize for Chao Chun Hsu and the NWO Stairway to Impact award for Wim Noorduin. Gert-Jan Gruter was named Knight of the Order of the Netherlands Lion, recognizing his contributions to sustainable chemistry.
