SusCrop is a research initiative aiming to enhance circularity in modern agriculture and horticulture. We explore new routes to develop and improve crops that can thrive on organic nitrogen to produce healthy and popular food, with high protein content, in a climate-resilient and biodiversity-friendly way. We work together with farmers, industries and societal partners to gain insights ranging from molecular mechanisms up to the entire food chain.
